The Artist Daniela Gwercher is also doing some welfare work.
In January 2020 she started a painting project for elderly people - within the frame of the voluntary workers for the Municipality.
It is called “Art workshop Marienheim”
Together with Hedi Mair from the Marienheim they make an incredible positive group initiative for these elderly peope possibe.
“We try to create a perspective” says Daniea Gwercher.
„We work together towards an exhibition in June – the theme is the four seasons – and our Marienheim-Artists are getting more relaxed with every art workshop.
We paint every 2 weeks for the entire Morning, explains the artist.
I am very happy to see how excellent the artistic result becomes – the members of the art group are fantastic.
Every member of the art group is treated individually. Some of them have motored problems, but we try to create for everyone the right conditions.
The material is provided with friendly support by TIROLACK and makes it possible to provide wheelchair-adequate easel to balance out physically handicaps.
On 19th of June 2020 there will be an exhibition opening at Marienheim – at 6.00 p.m.
On this day the artworks are shown and on sale – the artists can be met personally – and Daniela Gwercher will explain the project personally.
Also Hedi Mair will talk about the voluntary worker project of the Municipality.
“We proudly present this project to all interested volontaires to learn what can be done in this area!”, Hedi Mair says.
The exhibition of the Art workshop Marienheim runs from 20th June to 25th June – from 2.00 to 5.00 p.m.
